Iberika

Iberika-logoIberika is a private language center in Berlin with many years of experience. Already since 1996 we have been teaching foreign languages at three central locations in Berlin. Ten experienced multilingual colleagues work in our administration and over fifty academically trained teachers take the lessons. iberika offers translation services and is an official examination centre of the language certificates Telc, CAPLE (University of Lisbon) and of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. Since 1999 iberika has successfully carried out Teacher training for English and Spanish teachers, including both theoretical and practical lessons.

Iberika was established with an intercultural focus on the languages and cultures of the Iberian peninsular (Spanish, Portuguese, Catalan, Basque, Galician) and soon expanded on that with other languages (English, French, Dutch) and an incoming-area for German as a foreign language. Integration courses regularly take place in the centre contracted by the Federal Ministry of Migration and Refugees. Numerous students from abroad also learn German with us – in small groups with personal supervision and intercultural training included.

iberika’s work has, in addition, always had an international dimension. We closely and successfully work together with more than eighty partner schools worldwide. iberika sends and receives students – both in the framework of language trips as well as in the framework of international projects.

For years iberika has been successfully involved in international project work. Alongside their competence in the transfer of intercultural and language knowledge, our qualified staff has acquired extensive experience in the production of multimedia materials (print publications, audio CDs, DVD ROMs and the web) and the development of curricula for language training.
